Where did First Capital Connect get their road markings from? They are so durable they lasted almost ten years beyond the end of their company existing.

After the demise of FCC in 2014, you can see various attempts to cover the words in black and white paint.
In the end, it took a full road redesign scheme (narrowing the road and widening the footway) to resurface the road entirely and remove all trace!
