While trying to explore the Sewell Greenway, we found a no motor vehicles sign that pretty much enforced itself due to the lack of any road surface. I think if we fell down one of the holes we would end up in an alternate dimension!
Of course, the Sewell Greenway is now a cycle track but was once part of the Leighton Buzzard – Luton – Welwyn railway:
