Meanwhile on the temporary* diversion of New Road, it was reported that on the first day being open someone crashed into this tight corner. You can see that some extra tarmac has been laid and the corner has been straightened a little bit!
*looking at plans for Hampden Fields, it looks like this will be the permanent course of new roads through the estate and the old New Road will close!
