Remember our trip to the new alignment of New Road? I then shared the above image already but there are more photos to share!
I heard that the first day this road opened someone crashed straight into this corner, so they have gently amended the layout.
Let’s drive it the opposite direction in daylight this time!
Approaching from this direction there was a white sign telling all traffic to turn right, but it has fallen over. A car emerges from the Golf Club which is as far as you can go on the old road course.
Turning the corner twice, you then get to see some of the South Aylesbury Link Road? SALR? SLR? SEALR? Whatever it is, it bypasses Aylesbury and that’s all that matters!
Here is the infamous corner, now slightly less insane.
You can see skid marks all over the road, whether due to deliberate misuse or confused drivers I don’t know…
